Can I Keep My Phone Number?
The short answer is: Currently, if you are in Verizon phone coverage area, yes you can. Currently, SBC has refused so far to comply with an FCC order to allow you to move your phone number and keep your DSL. But we expect them to do so soon. If you are in SBC territory, the ideal configuration for most companies is standard, separate, stand-alone basic service fax line with DSL on it--with the rest of your lines as dock.net VoIP.
If you have some other type of broadband other than DSL, you can easily port your number to us.
