dock.net also provides partial T1s and frame relay circuits. Pricing is dependent on location and bandwidth speed. There are two primary differences between point-to-point (PTP) T1s and frame relays: PTPs are dedicated circuits between us and the customer. Frame relays exchange data through frame relay switches, or "clouds." Speed can be affected by traffic on the phone company network. Frame relays also support multiple connections.

Experience
The Internet is a dynamic and sometimes seemingly fickle place. dock.net, a Cyberspace pioneer founded in 1996 (and one of the few independents left), has evolved into an industry stalwart. Our founder and staff posses several years of experience in computers, network, and information technology—experience dating back to long before the immergence of the Internet.
Reliability
Redundancy is the name of the game at dock.net. All systems are x2: two backup power supplies, two air conditioners, two DS3s, and many, many T1s. Even our security system operates over both landlines and cellular backup. We meet and exceed the industry standard of 99.9% uptime month in and month out!
Value
While dock.net is not a “cheap” ISP (you get what you pay for, after all), we are reasonable. Here's how:
- Our T1, T3, Frame Relay, and Colocated Server prices are the lowest we know of.
- We usually meet or beat the competition's pricing, especially the telephone companies, MSN, Earthlink, and AOL.
- We have 24-hour, toll-free technical support. We solve problems on your time.
- We answer our phones and return phone calls.
- We don't load our network down with frilly, resource-hogging services, such as games, chat, and adult Web sites.
- If you have problems, we make getting you back in business our priority.
- Fast, friendly support and resolutions that work. We have knowledgeable sales, support, and network administrators—we've been doing this for a long time.
Full Service
dock.net truly is a full-service ISP. We provide nearly every imaginable type of Internet service. There's no need to deal with three or four different companies—one for access, one for hosting, another for email, and so on.)
No Nonsense
dock.net is a business oriented ISP. We know that your Internet connection can often be an integral—often crucial—part of your business.
