Paul Gathercoal |

Paul
Gathercoal, Forrest's brother, is a professor and Chair, of
the Curriculum and Instruction Department in the College of Education
at the University of Idahoin Moscow, Idaho. Previously
he
has served as professor and program director for curriculum & instruction and
educational technology in the School of Education at California Lutheran
University. He has also served as an assistant professor of education
at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter,
Minnesota,
and
as
a teacher
and
coach with
the South
Australian
Education Department. He has coached elementary school soccer and basketball
and men's and women's basketball teams in Australia. Paul played football,
basketball
and baseball throughout his K-12 schooling and four years of soccer at Southern
Oregon College.
Paul holds a B.S. degree in education from Southern Oregon College and M.Ed. and Ph.D. degrees in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Oregon. He is author or co-author of numerous articles and conference presentations on educational technology, class meetings, Judicious Coaching, Judicious Discipline, and The Judicious Professor, among other educational topics.
