CHECK YOUR AMMO BEFORE YOU COME TO THE RANGE!

Our Rangemasters really, really hate it when they touch a magnet to your bullets --
not the cartridge cases, but the actual projectiles -- and it STICKS!

We are in a National Forest, and bullets containing steel cannot be used on our range. We RSOs have no
choice in the matter: we have to advise you of the problem, and ensure that you do not use those bullets.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR BULLETS WITH A MAGNET, PREFERABLY BEFORE YOU BUY THEM!

Target was damaged by the steel-core bullets shown here.

Damage to 200-yard berm and bunker from .50-cal highpower rounds

Your .50BMG is welcome on the Range, but its effects on the backstop are not!
The Chief Instructor reminds you that you are limited to using either the National Match-style
practice frames (located in the unlocked bunker) with your own paper targets,
or the enclosed rectangular gong at the base of the 200-yard backstop.

Posted Issue of The Minuteman: June 2017

Some shoots take place too late in the month to be included in the current issue of The Minuteman.
So ... if you don't see a specific shoot report in The Minuteman, check the Shoot Chair's page
for a link to the most recent shoot report received by the Webmaster.

Note: To take advantage of the e-mail links, you will need Acrobat® Reader® version 9.0 or later
AND you need a POP3 e-mail address which you can access without opening your Web browser.

Also: For reasons unknown to your Webmaster, Firefox no longer displays The Minuteman
in a readable font, nor does it support the tags attached to the portions of the photo.
Other browsers, including Internet Explorer 9.0, continue to perform both tasks correctly. - Webmaster
