Tips for a Successful Party

• Plan early…avoid disappointment if the date you want isn’t available.

• Send out invitations at least 10 days before the Big event. Keep a list of invited guests, and check-off who has replied. If you don’t use our invitations please include consent to play forms to ensure a speedy check-in process on party day.

• Call your party planner at least 3-4 days before to confirm arrangements and give a final guest count.

• Plan to arrive about 10 minutes early for your party. We will introduce you to your party host(ess) and confirm any last minute arrangements.

• Remember, parents play for free – but all other invited guests (children AND grownups) count against the allotted 25 maximum. We are happy to accommodate additional guests for a nominal fee, plus any extras.

• Consider booking an Awesome Party if you are expecting lots of grownups to attend…this will give you a private room to entertain and feed your grownup guests for the entire duration of your party. Time constraints do not allow for any of our sumptuous Parent Platters at one of our Super parties, so an Awesome is the only way to go!

• Don’t forget to ask us about add-ons such as balloons and table centerpieces, goody bags, ice cream and other fun ideas!

• If you would like to bring in your own goody bags, please make sure they do not contain gum of any kind. Face masks as part of the goodies given out are also not recommended.

• There is plenty of drinking water at Party On! – including our filtered drinking fountain in the Snack Bar. We also will provide pitchers of cold, iced water during your party time. If you wish to provide additional bottles of water for your party guests, please ask about running a tab at the snack bar.

• Party On! is a fully licensed, commercial restaurant and we are happy to tell you about the many food options available for your party. Please ask your party planner. Please understand the county health department prohibits any outside food or beverage products in our facility.

• Socks must always be worn by anyone on the play floor. We have socks for sale in the lobby, or you might want to bring some extras from home for your guests that forget theirs.

• Please remember that you are responsible for the timely departure of your guests. Your party package does not include additional playtime beyond the 2 hours, and the Party Room must be vacated within 5 minutes of the end of your party. We need to clean and set up the room for the next party!

• Have a fun time…and don’t forget to leave the mess to us!

Frequently asked Questions

Q: How can I book a party?

A: Just stop in or call to speak with one of our party planners. We’ll take care of the rest! We require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of your party package price to confirm the date and time you want…the balance is settled along with any additional charges on party day.

Q: My party package is for: “up to 25 guests”….does that include parents, too? What about siblings? What if I have more than 25?

A: Our packages for parties are priced for 25 children, parents play for free. All children (and grown-ups without a qualifying child) attending a party are counted as guests. If your party exceeds 25 guests, a nominal fee plus extras (goody bags, ice cream, kid’s meals) will be charged.

Q: Will we have time to open presents in the party room?

A: We encourage you to take the gifts home for opening…2 hours does not allow for much more than playtime and eating. However, if you’ve booked one of our Awesome parties you may schedule a gift-opening break about half-way through the play period. (Be prepared, though, most of the kids won’t be interested and won’t always cooperate!).

Super parties, with only 30 minutes in the party room, do not allow enough time for gift opening.

Q: Will there be someone to help?

A: Yes, you will be introduced to your party host(ess) when you arrive and they will assist with presents, food and beverage arrangements and cutting the cake. They also clean up the mess so you don’t have to!

Q: Can I bring in my own decorations and food?

A: Yes, and no. You are welcome to bring in any decorations such as tablecovers, plates and napkins, but we cannot guarantee you access to the Party Room ahead of your party for more extensive decorating. Also, because Party On! is a fully licensed commercial restaurant facility, only food from our Snack Bar may be consumed on the premises. You may pre-order kid’s meals, whole pizzas and Parent Platters by placing an order ahead of time with your party planner. And your party package includes a beautifully decorated and personalized birthday cake in your favorite flavors and colors!

Q: What types of food can I serve my grown-up guests?

A: Please check our website or consult your party planner for details on our delicious catering options, such as meat and cheese deli trays, sandwich platters and fruit and veggie assortments. Please note that Parent Platters are only available at Awesome Parties.

Q: Who supplies the paper goods?

A: We do! We supply all paper plates, napkins, cups and plastic-ware. And birthday candles, too!

Q: Can we plan to eat at the beginning of the party, instead of at the end?

A: No, because eating before or during the playtime can make children sick. That is why we don’t allow for any playtime after your party has gone into the Party Room.

Q: Does each guest need a separate waiver?

A: Yes, but all members of the family can be on the same waiver. If any guests forget to bring theirs, we have extras at the front check-in.

Q: Can I pay extra to get more time?

A: No. We schedule parties throughout the day and the party room is used continuously.

Q: I don’t plan to have more than 10 children at my party. Can I book a smaller group?

A: Full use of our party facilities is available only with purchase of one of our party packages. If you need accommodations for a smaller group, please ask your party planner about the possibility of a “mini-party” – available only on a limited basis.
